Welcome Our New Instructors!

Welcome to Nicole Wessel, a former student of Belle Academy through her senior year of high school and who is now finishing a few classes at the University of Iowa.  She will be teaching some jazz classes.

Korinne Fangmann is another Belle Academy student as well as a former teacher at Belle.  She has now graduated Iowa with a degree in dance and will share her expanded knowledge and experience with us! She’ll be teaching mid to upper levels of ballet and jazz.

Zoe Tanner, a junior at Davenport Central and a current advanced Belle dancer who studies ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and modern, will be teaching an introductory modern class.

Our fourth new teacher is Isabella Valdivia who will teach Street Hip Hop.  Isabella is a sophomore at Bettendorf and currently studies jazz and hip hop, although her past training through Belle Academy includes ballet, tap, and modern, as well.

It is Belle’s good fortune to be adding these talented young women to our already top-notch teaching staff including Lisa Tanner, Anne Page, Andrea Williams, Miranda McKenna, Lindsay Avila, Molly Seybert, and Kay Ferris.

IT’S SUMMER TIME!

Summer classes at Belle Academy are unique in that dancers usually separated during the school year have the opportunity to take class together and learn from each other.    It’s a great time to work on technique!  Dancers who take summer classes often make surprising progress.

We are excited about a new Hip Hop class – a session in June and a workshop July 5-8.

The schedule is posted here.
